Was given the opportunity to take a really classic and iconic ship and smash it to pieces. In this post, you'll see the work that was done on the interior. I was responsible for all aspects of the 3D work with some assistance from Brian West and Aaron Fowler for some crago bay props. Was an extremely collaborative process between almost all departments. Animation took the lead on this one and that informed where parts of the ship needed to be split opened or destroyed. Was a super unique process that I think came together quite nicely in the end.
None of this would of been possible without the wonderful Sam Knudson who is a fantastic Tech Artist. He's responsible for POMs and the Material Shader we used for these vehicles!
